THE SEA OF TRANQUILLITY

".... It is the very error of the moon,
That comes more near the earth than she was wont,
And makes men mad ...."

- Wm Shakespeare

a dazzling
intrusive moon
conceals

in black
fantastic shadows

dark errant
living secrets

which
a darker night
of starlight
finds revealed
quietly and undistorted
to the patient eye

of one
who neither harries
nor invades

and quite
unphased

by shame
