Once upon a time there was a god. He lived in a pot and he was mighty and black.
Once upon a time, a mouse came along. And the mouse met the god.
And the god said unto him, "How can you stand being so small and unpowerful?"
And the mouse said unto him, "Your power is not so great. You could not smash me with a single thunderbolt."
And the god said unto him, "I should have you know that I could smash you."
And the mouse said unto him, "Go on, try!"
And the god looked bewildered. He had never been asked to kill something before, least not by the something it had asked him to kill. And he found he could not kill this little mouse, for it looked so small and pathetic.
And then the god said, "I admit to your power being superior to my own, O Mouse!"
